- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I've been going here for the past year and the experience has never been exceptional. I fractured my foot in July '16 and was out of PT by October, supposedly healed. Come April I reinjured it, and was referred to Dr. Backus. He was baffled on how this refracture could of occurred, and simply told me to stay on the boot. Always seemed to be in a rush, and he never stayed longer than five minutes. Ended up starting a bone stimulator treatment, which he pitched as taking "3 to 5 weeks to heal the bone". Just went in a few weeks ago (two months after he said 3-5 weeks), still reporting pain, and he changed his claim to "these things can take 4 to 6 months to work". Didn't listen what I had to say, insisted that I didn't need surgery and hasn't suggested any other alternative treatments other than to wait--despite this second fractures healing time exceeding the first.July 13, 2017by Megan Metzger-Seymour
